Through weekly videoconference lectures, the course will provide essential information on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). It is ideal for those seeking positions as instructor therapists, special education teachers, resource teachers, integration aides, other paraprofessionals or professionals working in the field of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and/or developmental disabilities. It is also for parents, guardians, and family members of children with ASD and other developmental disabilities.

 

Instructor, Daniel Blanchfield, M.ADS BCBA

Daniel Blanchfied is a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with over 9 years of experience working with young children with autism and neurodevelopmental disabilities, he trains staff, students and parents in behavior analysis and oversees behavioural assessments, program design and evaluation. Daniel earned a Master’s degree in Applied Disabilities Studies with a concentration in ABA from Brock University in order to complete his BCBA coursework. Daniel has previously TA’d the ABA with RBT® course twice and is excited to take on the role of instructor for the ABA course.
