Structured & Individualized Intervention In The Classroom Setting

 

This full-day workshop is intended to provide teaching professionals with tools to set-up a structured learning environment for elementary and high school students who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The workshop will present on:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Concrete strategies for how to adapt physical space and educational activities
  • Promoting functional autonomy
  • Optimizing learning

Speakers
Jade Lawsane, ps.éd., M.Ed

 

Jade Lawsane is a licensed psychoeducator with over two decades of experience working with individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities.  She currently works as a Consultant for Autism at the Lester B. Pearson's School Board's Centre of Excellence for Autism Spectrum DIsorder (ASD). 

 

Ms. Lawsane has been a trainer of Structured and Individualized Intervention for the Miriam Foundation and the Gold Centre since 2003.
