Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (ABA / EIBI Services)
The Abili-T program opened its doors in May 2011, in response to the long waitlists for publically funded early intervention services. Our early intensive behavioural intervention (EIBI) program is grounded in the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Each day, Abili-T provides bilingual, subsidized, evidence-based services to children between 18 months to 6 years of age with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), suspected ASD, and other developmental disabilities. The child to therapist ratio is 1:1, and empirically sound practices guide each step, from assessment to service delivery. Our programs are highly individualized, with each child’s curriculum being built in collaboration with family members, in order to ensure that children and family’s individual needs and priorities are being met. Parents know their child best, and our team works in close collaboration with them, to instill in them the skills and confidence to help their child meet their full potential. Our services are of the highest calibre, and our extremely well-trained team works closely with children with the goal of preparing them for preschool and kindergarten. Services are provided in our specially adapted centre located in Montreal, as well as in home and community-based settings under the clinical supervision of several BCBA's and BCaBA's.
