Early Intensive Behaviour Intervention (ABA / EIBI Services)
The Abili-T program opened its doors in May 2011, in response to the long waitlists for publically funded early intervention services. Our Early Intensive Behaviour Intervention (EIBI) program is grounded in the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Each day, Abili-T provides bilingual, evidence-based services to children between 18 months to 6 years of age with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), suspected ASD, and other developmental disabilities. Empirically sound practices guide each step, from assessment to service delivery. The child to therapist ratio is 1:1.
Our programs are individualized for each child. The curriculum is developed in collaboration with family members, since parents know their child best. This approach is to ensure that the child's, and family’s, individual needs and priorities will be met. This includes the goal of preparing the child for preschool and kindergarten. Our highly-trained team continues to work in close collaboration with the parents, resulting in the parents gaining the skills and confidence they need to help their child reach his or her full potential.
Our services are provided in our specially adapted Centre located in Montreal: under the clinical supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analysts (BCaBA).
