Early Intervention

The Gold Centre operates two private, not for profit, early intensive intervention programs for children aged 18 months to six years. The Miriam Foundation’s support allows the high costs of treatment to be subsidized, reducing the direct cost to families.

The Abili-T program supports young children with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities to reach their full potential by providing highly individualized, 1:1 (one therapist, one child) services based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).

The Trampoline program provides specialized, intervention to young children with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities using structured teaching based on the TEACCH method (Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children), as well as other recognized approaches.
