Adult Leisure Programs



Recreation and leisure activities are a critical dimension of the quality of life for all people, including people with developmental disabilities – an often forgotten segment of the population. They are a vehicle through which people have fun, meet new friends, and develop skills and competencies.  Adult Leisure programs were launched by the Gold Centre in November 2011, through the generous support of the Azrieli Foundation. Around 20 different innovative recreation and leisure activities are offered for adults with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities. 


As we near the end of another session of Adult Leisure Programs, the Gold Centre is pleased to announce the dates for the Fall 2018 session:  


The Fall 2018 Leisure Programs will run from September 29th to December 22, 2018. 


Registration period: September 5th to 19th, 2018

  • Please, complete the attached two forms and bring them with you to the Leisure Activities Fair:  Registration Sheet and the Participant Profile
