Leisure Programs


Recreation and leisure activities are a critical dimension of the quality of life for all people, including people with developmental disabilities – an often forgotten segment of the population. They are a vehicle through which people have fun, meet new friends, and develop skills and competencies.  Adult Leisure programs were launched by the Gold Centre in November 2011, through the generous support of the Azrieli Foundation. Around 20 different innovative recreation and leisure activities are offered for adults with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities. 


As we near the end of another session of Adult Leisure Programs, the Gold Centre is pleased to announce the dates for the Winter-Spring 2018 session:  


The Winter-Spring 2018 Leisure Programs will run from February 3rd to June 22nd 2018.


Registration period: January 10th to 24th, 2018. 


For your convenience, a  PDF registration form is attached, as well as documents describing each of the Leisure Program activities.  







Join us at the Gold Centre on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm for the Winter-Spring 2018 Leisure Activities Fair. 


At the Fair, participants will be able to meet the animators and register for their groups.
